This is from a recent gallup poll.
If you want to say “Oh people lie on polls!” to justify your un-acceptance of people, tell me, would YOU vote for an atheist? Be honest.
Only 7% of Americans are atheist or agnostic.

Question: obama last week was ahead of mccain 8 points, then 6 points 2 days ago, now only 2 points, what happened?

http://www.gallup.com/poll/108223/Gallup-Daily-Obama-46-McCain-44.aspx

the obama supporters were in here last week showing the Gallup poll with obama ahead of mccain by 8 points. So I have been watching “their” polls they keep talking about.
Tuesday, obama dropped to only a 6 point lead! today it shows only a 2 point lead!!!

I know the obama bots who spread that poll around will say, “oh, well you cant trust the polls” but they keep bringing up this gallup poll so I am bringing it back to them! its obama at 46 and mccain at 44, so what happened that obama is loosing poll numbers so fast?
like I say, this is the SAME poll the obama bots were in here bragging about the last couple weeks. so watch the excuses be made now!
now now, I am talking about the gallup poll, NOT newsweek, newsweek is the ONLY poll that has obama ahead by double digits. last week the gallup had obama higher than anyone else.
this is my point to this whole facade. The obama bots just cruise the polls till they find one that shows obama ahead. LOL

I don’t know what happened with that poll. Newsweek latest poll shows Obama up by 15 points…

Question: Have you seen the latest polls? What do you think they mean?
GALLUP: Obama (D) 48%, McCain (R) 41%

RASMUSSEN: Obama (D) 49%, McCain (R) 43%

NBC/WSJ (Wall St. Journal): Obama (D) 47%, McCain (R) 41%

Yes, the only “poll” that really matters is when people vote on Election Day. But, even so, what do you think of the latest numbers?

They all say some thing different, don’t they. CNN has the polls at Obama 44, and McCain 41. So, I guess we can’t believe any of them.

Question: Which should be given a priority – environmental protection or economic growth and energy development?
Gallup asked these 2 questions in a recent poll.

“With which one of these statements about the environment and the economy do you most agree – protection of the environment should be given priority, even at the risk of curbing economic growth (or) economic growth should be given priority, even if the environment suffers to some extent?”

“With which one of these statements about the environment and energy production do you most agree – protection of the environment should be given priority, even at the risk of limiting the amount of energy supplies (such as oil, gas and coal) which the United States produces (or) development of U.S. energy supplies (such as oil, gas and coal) should be given priority, even if the environment suffers to some extent?”

For the first time in a year, environmental protection beat energy development, 55-39%. Since the BP Gulf oil disaster, over the past 2 months Democrats and Independents shifted toward environmental protection by 15 points. Republicans remained unchanged, 62-30% in favor of energy development over environmental protection.

The results for economic growth were similar, 50-43% in favor of environmental protection, ahead of economic development for the first time in 2 years. Since the BP disaster, Dems moved towards environmental protection by 12 points, independents by 17 points, and Republicans by 5 points.

http://www.gallup.com/poll/137882/Oil-Spill-Alters-Views-Environmental-Protection.aspx

Interestingly, environmental protection was valued more highly in the ’80s and ’90s, peaking at 71-19% in favor of environmental protection over economic growth in 1990.

How would you answer these questions, and what do you think of these demographics and shifts?

Answer:

Answer by Dr Huh?!
It’s ridiculous that people even think they have a choice. Without the protection of the environment the economy will collapse. Everything depends on the environment, especially the economy. When more and more crops start to fail people won’t worry about gas prices, wars, or the economy. They will be ready to think more “down to Earth”.
