Question: Answers and Opinions About Puppy/Dog Food?
I don’t know how to start a real-live “poll” or anything, but I’m interested to hear: What do you feed your puppies/dogs? What is the brand you recommend when people ask you what THEY should choose (whether you use that or not)? How do you feel about cheap foods and expensive foods? How do you react when someone tells you they feed their dog a food with which you disagree? Four questions, People, gimme four good answers.
Let the Yahoo Answer discussions begin and, by all means, check back on this one so we can get some healthy debates!

1. I feed a raw diet (homemade with help from my vet) and sometimes Taste of the Wild when I have to board or travel for convenience.
2. I generally recommend a range of them- not every food works for every dog. For example, Orijen and Innova Evo are great foods, but one of my dogs can’t eat either without getting ill. Some good ones I would point people towards are Taste of the WIld, Solid Gold, Eagle Pack Holistic, Innova, Wellness and Merrick (but there are certainly more good brands out there). I try to give more tools to evaluate a dog food.
3. Cost has sometimes little to do with quality. There are some inexpensive foods that are quite good- for example, if you take a look at ingredients, Kirkland Dog Food is actually on a par with foods like Blue Buffalo, but costs around the same as Ol Roy. Cheap does not always necessarily mean bad, and expensive does not always mean good.
4. Try to educate them on why the food they chose was maybe not the greatest choice, what foods are similarly priced but better, and what the benefits are to a quality food (like shinier, thicker coats, less shedding, reduced stool volume and smell)
Question: Serious Question. Why is Obama a Liar, and What did he lie about (Mature Answers Please)?
I have been trying to look this up and find out WHAT, WHY or WHERE he lied and literally, ALL i am seeing is peoples hateful, judgmental and childish opinions and random “Liar Polls”. That is not what i am looking for. So if anyone can PLEASE explain to me, in an ADULT manner, as well as Relevance as to Why, and What exactly he lied about? and If you have any valuable links, would you mind posting those too please?
i don’t mean to sound rude but all there is in this section is a bunch of irrelevant excuses of “republicans and democrats” saying a whole lot that is making absolutely No sense, and it is pretty irritating.
I will believe it when I see it.
Okay, Drew.. i am asking for Proof. Where is it showing that he Lied. I’ve seen Joe’s cute little act on television. Not impressed, UNTIL i know what he is talking about.
I am not one to go by “word of mouth”.
Thanks.
“GOZ2FAST” — Not good enough.
Again, this is all “word of mouth” i can’t buy that. He’s only been president not even a year and its like you expect this country to turn to Gold.
Not happening so soon.
After Bush as well? wow you expect a lot in such a short amount of time don’t you.

Question: YA Politics – Have you seen the latest con lie about what polls say……….?
A previous Con question said the following about a poll;
“48 % of Americans think we can win the war in iraq, while 6% has no opinion.”
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=Aj5_3KuUaQNDDK.WqWhPlK_Y7BR.?qid=20070312121305AANSxfe
The Poll actually said;
Definitely win – 11%
Probably win – 17%
Can win, but don’t think it will win – 20%
Do not think it can win – 46%
No opinion – 6%
This questioner added the first three to get the 48% number, and ignored the fourth. By using the same dishonest tactic I could say;
66 % of Americans (adding #3 & #4) think we will not win the war in iraq, while 6% has no opinion.
Distortion or lie? You be the judge.
ps – I won’t bother with the rest of the “truths”, because they use the exact same “tactic”. As the old saying goes: “Figures don’t lie, but liars can figure”

The attached NYTimes op-ed also provides some interesting perspective on Hillary’s lead in the polls and why she will most likely ultimately win.

Question: What does it say about America when 44% believe Jesus will (or probably will) return in the next 50 years?
Does this explain why many of us are happy to drive our gas guzzlers to oblivion and pollute as much as we like, wage war like there’s no tomorrow and elect a president who has driven the US foreign relations and economy down the deepest drain. After all it doesn’t really matter if Jesus is about to whisk us all off to heaven in a couple of decades right?
Source: Sam Harris quoting a Gallup poll
“22% of Americans claim to be certain, literally certain that Jesus is going to come down out of the clouds sometime in the next 50 years. Another 22% think he probably will sometime in the next 50 years.”
