Yes. You heard that correctly. 91% of 44000+ respondees voted in favor of marijuana legalization on a CNBC poll. cnbc.com /id /43510348 is where the poll is at. Check on it… vote on it… Contact CNBC even… If we draw the media’s giant, hulking head to this matter for an extended amount of time with caller feedback and interviews and opinion pieces… we just may force the rest of the Committee of the Judiciary to demand that the bill be considered for the sake of their continued terms in office. Rep. Smith has been in office for 24 years apparently. Perhaps not so for some of the other Committee members. I bet they’d love to get there though… With figures like these from CNBC, it’d be hard to say that the public would disapprove of a move to legalize.

Shibley Telhami says President Obama’s approval rating among Arabs has declined as a result of the ongoing Palestinian-Israeli conflict, tempering the President’s once high marks. More video: www.brookings.edu

So, as I say in the vid, I need your opinion on something.

Question: Who thinks the approval ratings on Obama are fake and more propoganda?
to keep Obama “popular” in the image of America. I for one know NOBODY who likes Obama and his failing policies. My entire family is democratic and they hate him.
Has anybody actually been “polled” before? I have NEVER had anybody call me and ask my opinion. Never in my life and I am 37 years old. Who are they calling then?
I do not need to be educated on what the polls say….my concern is WHO is being polled. I have NEVER been polled and nobody i know has either.

The polls are based on 1,000 individuals.

That means 1 person represents over 300,000 people in America. I mean the polls are a freaking joke, if not even rigged.

Question: Obama approval among unaffiliated voters?
According to Rasmussen Reports:

“Overall, 45% of voters say they at least somewhat approve of the President’s performance. That matches the lowest level of total approval yet measured for this president. Eighty-one percent (81%) of Democrats approve as do 33% of unaffiliated voters. Eighty-three percent (83%) of Republicans disapprove.”

Only 33% of unaffiliated voters approve of Obama? OUCH!

I’m ready for the liberals to whine about how polls don’t matter, yet I still remember when they used to shove Bush’s approval rating down our throat. At this point in his presidency however his approval rating was far higher than Obama’s is now. Oh and Rasmussen predicted the outcome of the 2008 Presidential Election, so apparently they are an accurate source.

As a side note, it’s scary to think that 17% of Republicans approve of Obama…..yet 19% of Democrats disapprove of him.
How about Gallup that has him at 48%? Not much better is it?

“According to Rasmussen Reports…”

Just say “According to a shill for the Republican party…” next time, it would save you effort.

Question: Presidential Approval Rating Poll: Rasmussen vs. Gallup, is this an example of bias media?
Is Gallup in the tank for Obama and is this an example of bias media?

http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/obama_administration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

http://www.gallup.com/poll/113980/Gallup-Daily-Obama-Job-Approval.aspx

“About Us” on Rasmussen:

“As a media company, we make our money by selling advertising, title sponsorships, subscriptions, and content. One thing we don’t sell is polls. Because we value our independence and credibility, Rasmussen Reports cannot be hired to conduct a poll for anyone. For our reports, we decide the questions to ask based upon the needs and interests of our audience. If it’s in the news, it’s in our polls. One thing we’re very proud of during the political season is our bi-partisan audience”

“About Gallup Poll”:

“Gallup Poll consultants assist leaders to identify and monitor behavioral economic indicators worldwide.”

Rasmussen seems to be a fair, non-partisan polling medium who cannot be hired for specific polling while Gallup uses consultants, upon hire, for their polling.
Teekno,

If you want me to break it down for you since you cannot read:

Rasmussen:
53% Approve
46% Disapprove

Gallup:
57% Approve
35% Disapprove

Rasmussen vs Gallup Approve:
Gallup +4

Rasmussen vs Gallup Disapprove:
Gallup -11

Gallup is obviously providing a bias poll, I did read the polls, try reading them yourself, nice try though.

Also, Vinny, I will have to disagree with you. Gallup is obviously in the tank for Obama, if not, then why such a higher approval rating and lower disapproval rating for Obama in comparison to Rasmussen?

Answer:

Answer by vinny_says_relax
Neither is in the tank for anyone, and Rasmussen is a registered Independent.

Latest Rasmussen Reports Obama approval down 14% since inauguration. I’mtired of people that condemn Fox because they feel that the media should have 100% bias to the left like Venezuela. They must think they’re Hugo Chavez. That’s typical liberal reverse logic, not knowing the facts, listening to nothing but liberal bias their entire lives and demonizing everyone that disagrees. Yeah, programmed robots like the robots that think they’ll go to heaven by killing women and children of other religions. I guess constantly harassing the people you disagree with is the next step toward the type of government they want. In Russia where Putin controlled the media, he had an 80% approval rating. It makes you wonder if people can think for themselves. I listened to that liberal bias for 50 years and never did buy off on it. I’ve never groked the logic that America was so evil in Vietnam yet when the left got their way and three million were slaughtered and people took to the sea in make shift rafts with little chance of survival, the left didn’t bat an eye. Or the logic that we are so evil for waterboarding three high level Al Qaeda (yeah, the creeps that killed women and children on 9/11) that three former CIA directors claimed saved American lives www.youtube.com yet they pal up with or support via their actions leaders with the worst human rights records on the planet. Or the logic that we can make America a better place by making it like the countries everyone’s trying to leave
